Red Crystal greyscale

Partly a bit of practice, seeing if I could draw shattered crystal any better. I'm fairly happy with the results.

If anyone who's reading my fanfic "Red Crystal White Gold" [link] hasn't caught on yet, this should make it blatantly apparent what the "red crystal" is referring to.

Tried out a new pen while I was inking this... Didn't like it. It was a very nice looking pen, but the ink was all... Penny... I don't quite now what the actual term for it is, but the ink was kind of iridescent looking, which isn't normally a problem... If you're intending to actually write words with your pen. It doe's become a problem in art though, when your ink isn't actually black-black.
Also, this type of ink seems to not exactly be permanent, and is bleeding under my grey markers worse then any of my other pens. If you look closely at the hard copy, especially the back, you can see the pink and blue pulling out of the ink.

I went over it with another ball point to make it blacker, but it still pretty much fails.
